In order to enhance the capacity for shipbuilding and ship repair activities installation of ship lift and transfer system is in progress. Installation is planned to be completed by 2018. Ship lift and transfer system will enable Karachi Shipyard to undertaken construction and repair of multiple vessels simultaneously.
